London Luton Airport Expansion

I am totally against the proposed expansion of Luton airport. I live on the flight path and am already disturbed by the noise pollution from aircraft taking off and flying over the village. Further expansion and an increase in flights would make our lives in Markyate unbearable. In addition, the roads surrounding the airport do not have the capacity for further traffic. Finally, we are meant to be reducing the amount of pollution that contributes to global warming. Adding more (unecessary) flights would increase the impact on the environment. To expand Luton Airport would be madness.
