I am concerned about the true justification for additional volume of air traffic through Luton Airport due to increased pollution and noise not only from aircraft but also support vehicles and the huge increase in road traffic, particularly in my local area. Local roads are already busy and proposed new road layouts will be squeezed into residential areas to accommodate additional traffic - more congestion, more pollution and more noise! The proposed destruction of a large area of Wigmore Valley Park, will take away an established local wildlife site home to much flora and fauna, particularly breeding bird species and a stop off feeding area for migrant birds. Wigmore Valley Park is also a vital green space for local residents with easy access for families.
