-Very high levels of noise. We are already struggling to sleep due to flights in the middle of the night. When outside the noise is unbearable and conversation virtually impossible. -Pollution including airplanes dumping fuel before landing. -Insufficient infrastructure. Already struggling with medical services/GP appointments due to additional houses that were built. Bus services limited, schools etc. -Value of our property will decrease and selling it will be difficult. -Increased traffic and therefore even more pollution and noise. -Decreased quality of life. Bought the property as we enjoy Village life and countryside. This will change our way of life. The airport with it's current capacity (especially in the summer months) is already having a negative impact on our Health and Wellbeing , imagine the impact it will have with the huge proposed increase in capacity!
