  1. Location of Luton airport close to housing - can smell congestion fumes from my front door on a regular basis. This in addition to the traffic congestion on small, local roads, suitable only for residential use will increase noise and air pollution. SAT NAV will automatically direct people through these areas ‘rat run’. 2) At least three schools are within 1 mile radius of the airport. Children affected by air pollution. The same families are also affected by the increase in parking on the curbs from those who do not want to pay for the already extortionate LBC run airport parking prices. Often they have to walk on the road when walking anywhere in their quiet residential area. 3) LBC once again using the airport as a ‘cash cow’ under the disguise ‘creating jobs and investment in Luton’ rather than investing in the town centre which is meant to serve all who live here, not visitors, contractors or investors who do not live in Luton. LBC have not invested wisely in the last 10 years since changes were made to airport terminal. 4) It does not need expanding.
