The proposed project will decimate acres of well used and established parkland, home to many diverse species of animals and birds. It will also create havoc on local access roads which were not built for the number of additional vehicles which will be using them. The area is polluted enough already with aviation fumes often drifting over nearby housing estates and the influx of cars and more flights will only exacerbate the situation. The airport supposedly has restrictions on night flights but try sleeping with your bedroom window open. Flights come and go well past midnight withthe restrictions seemingly meaningless. The project will only make this intrusion worse.
