The decision to accept this expansion is a travesty and will destroy the lives of residents such as myself and completely devalue our homes. As it currently is the noise of aircraft throughout the day and night ruines any sense of peace, and keeps me awake or wakes me in the early hours. To think that this level of noise, disruption and all of the associated congestion is going to almost double is almost unimaginable and a terrifying prospect. I cannot believe that this can be allowed to go ahead and that the council have effectively put profit over people’s lives. I will now have to look to move once again, having only been a resident for just over a year as I cannot live under such conditions. That is the real impact of what is happening. But those who have made the decisions are not impacted by them so I guess it doesn’t matter. I’m absolutely disgusted, once more greed is more important then people’s lives
