My comment is very simple. We are in a climate emergency and without a sustainable alternative to aviation (there isn't one) we should not be planning to grow the sector. This is a crazy decision to make at this point in time where every fraction of a degree in global warming that we save, will help secure a liveable future on Earth. Plus everything about this campaign smacks of greenwashing 'Our airport. Our community. Our planet.' on a green email with pictures of flowers growing. It's totally misleading and the whole idea of airport expansion should be shelved immediately and permanently.
