  1. We suffer daily from the noise of regularly flights over and near our house. It wakes up us and our children. We live on what should be a quiet residential road next to the golf course in Harpenden. An extra 200 plus flights a day will be intolerable. 2. The change in flight paths in recent years has not been a success. We have a more concentrated path of planes. They often divert from the centre path or are diverted by air traffic over our house. The tracking is not accurate - the computer regularly shows the planes much further south than they are. 3. The planes being used are too loud. 4. Planes should be higher by the time that they pass towards the East. They are forced to stay low because of other flight paths. 5. An increase in volume of flights will be unbearable. 6. Luton takes all of the economic benefit and then sends the planes south over Harpenden and Herts. The current planes should be routed north over less populated areas to minimise inconvenience. 7. An increase in flights is unacceptable from an environmental perspective. 8. An increase in flights is unacceptable from an air pollution perspective. 9. Luton is one of the worst airports to try and increase flights from - surrounded by heavily populated areas. Other airports should increase if there really is a need (which there is not).
