The huge increase in aircraft noise and CO2 emissions over Caddington. Aircraft noise when planes are landing on from the west has always been dismissed by the Luton Rising team. The huge increase in road traffic in the Stopsley and Wigmore areas of Luton and the years of industrially generated dust during the construction phase. The huge increase in sewage and waste water generated by the airport will have to be processed by the East Hyde water works on the River Lea. That river is a significant source of drinking water through Hertford and down the Lea valley in East London; who will pay the increase in water rate costs the suppliers will require to meet the infrastructure enhancements needed.
