I wanted to take the time to write today to add my support for this proposal, as I see this expansion as a key component for the locality to grow, expand and to encourage sustainable growth in the local community. As a charity, we are always looking for new ways to work with local businesses, enterprises and organisations and have received substantial and important funding from Luton Rising which funds our Luton based service since 2020. Without such a valued and important funding stream, we would struggle to fund our Domestic Abuse service which supports the most vulnerable and at risk members of society within Luton and the surrounding areas. I believe the proposed expansion of Luton Airport will only serve to benefit the residents of Luton and the surrounding area by bringing more opportunities and success to the people of Luton, sharing the increased opportunities and sustainable aspirations together.
