The expansion of Luton airport will have a negative impact on the local residents. I am concerned about the following: Increased air pollution from aviation fuel Increased noise levels from additional aircraft Increased traffic in the local area Litter and fly tipping is already a problem, more people and volume in onward traffic could lead to more of this. It would signify misery for the surrounding area: local people already endure bad air pollution, and the noise and disruption of aircraft. The expansion would damage air quality and biodiversity as well as increase carbon emissions and noise pollution. There is also potential to damage local wildlife and habitats and water courses. Additional waste generation. And many people could lose their homes against their will to make way for a new terminal. Many negative impacts the local and surrounding areas.
