  1. I am disturbed by aircraft noise , particularly in the early morning. I was looking forward to a peaceful retirement but the aircraft noise both early morning and during the day is sometimes unbearable. What will it be like when the airport is expanded. 2) We frequently got a very strong smell of aviation fuel descend on our garden. It is strong enough to taste. this cannot be good for ones health and it will only get worse. 3) I am sure aviation fuel cannot be good for the children who attend to three local schools. 4) We are plagued by airport parking on our residential streets , blocking footpaths etc. With this expansion this problem will only get worse. LBC and the airport have totally ignored the problem and left us to fend for ourselves. 5)Much of Wigmore Park will be destroyed and in the process it will expose toxic waste . This is extremely close to residential and will most likely cause a health hazard to those living nearby. 6) In 2017 , a local plan was agreed in respect of Crawley Green Road . The new link road breaches this plan. 7) It is not expected that the Dart railway will reduce road traffic , thus pollution. The fact that LBC intend ti increase airport parking confirms this. 8) The local roads incorporating 11sets of traffic lights will be used as a ' rat run ' for airport traffic thus making it a misery for local residents. 9) LBC are building a 'White Elephant' as at massive cost to Luton taxpayers. Given the climate emergency the last thing the world needs is more aircraft discharging CO2 into the atmosphere. 10 Wigmore Park will be destroyed along with all its County Wildlife Site.
