The pollution is already unbearable in the summer. The noise, light, smell and fumes emitted from the airport the aircraft overhead and the increased road users has a significant effect on life in the the town, especially the 1000s of people near or under the flight path. Our lives are dramatically affected, respiratory illness is rife. The operators push the boundaries of the flight path borders and often 'by accident' fly over residential houses. In the world of climate crises this increase in passenger proposal is totally against all the logic of trying to solve climate issues. Air travel has declined and it should be discouraged not enabled. it literally is killing people.
