London Luton Airport Expansion

Assuming the expansion of Luton Airport increases the number of daily flights, this will make life very unpleasant for residents of Kensworth Village. The noise at night can often disturb your sleep, despite the requirement for quieter engines at night (they are still loud) and during the day you have to stop speaking if you are outside and a plane is overhead. Whilst we cope with this and have learned to live with it any increase to the frequency of this noise will be very challenging. In these times of rising global temeratures and climate change I think there is also a moral obligation to stop expanding air travel.
