I wholeheartedly support the expansion of London Luton Airport for the following reasons: Creation of jobs including apprenticeships Generating income for the Borough of Luton New generation of aircraft are much quieter and are much more environmentally friendly Demand for travel via aircraft would go to other local airports whose areas would benefit from the additional economic benefits of this Airport expansion is vital to the future success of Luton, Bedfordshire and the wider counties surrounding it. Airports should be aspirational places to work and not just the Neighbour on the hill - variety of jobs from engineers to Chartered Surveyors, accountants and mechanics. It is like a small city with a world of opportunities. The control measures for growth are correct and proper.
