Air Quality - Luton already has very poor air quality, increase in traffic to and from the airport and plane activity will only make this worse. Noise - the noise from the planes is very loud especially during take off and landing. Unable to have a conversation in the garden if a plane is taking off. I can hear noise activity during the night from the airport. Roads - already congested as much as the airport will say people will use public transport, realistically most people travel by car to get to the airport. Car parking - travellers already park their cars in all the neighbouring streets for 2/3 weeks while they are on holiday leaving residents unable to park at their properties. Airport staff also park in neighbouring streets. Green space - Luton has very little green space, those areas it has need protecting. Climate change - we are meant to be changing to protect our climate, expansion of the airport will go against this.
