I have the misfortune to live under the East/West flight path approach to LAP. In consequence we suffer very regular flights directly overhead and at comparatively low altitude. This is both noisy and intrusive, as well as contributing to noticeably poor air quality. Bearing in mind its location and original purpose, Luton Airport is already bigger than it needs to be. Frankly, yet another increase in passenger capacity is neither needed nor warranted. I believe it would be more appropriate if "Luton Rising" and Luton Borough Council gave more consideration to the quality of life of the residents of this district, and rather less to their relentless pursuit of profit. In reality, that is what this is all about.
