Expanding airports goes against recommendations of the UK climate change committee, iupcc and the UN in meeting net zero targets. We have UK climate legislation that is being ignored by most other government policy, airport expansion included. We desperately need water infrastructure, we do not need airport infrastructure that will accelerate climate change causing more damage to global water and other infrastructure. You need to turn the tide on ecologically damaging parts of the economy like commercial aviation. This particular site will also devastate an existing wildlife haven. Please, for the sake of all life on this globe, protect what we have by stopping all airport expansion.
