London Luton Airport Expansion

As a resident of Luton, I know the importance of our airport in regards to it's contribution to our town. Economically speaking, the airport has provided millions in funding to organisations dedicated to good causes including charities and the local authority. It also provides thousands of jobs to mostly local people. Both of these benefits will only grow if the airport is successfully expanded which, in turn, will cause great economic growth for the town that is desperately needed. Furthermore, looking at the proposal for expansion, the consideration for the environmental impacts are immense so I personally do not believe that the factor of damage to the environment should be considered.
