I strongly oppose this application because I believe such significant additional expansion would noise-blight the area, clog local road and rail services, cause 60% more carbon emissions and create unsustainable environmental and health damage for those living close to the airport. I live very close by and I fear what will happen to the local area if it is given the go ahead. Removal of local green space, damage and destruction to important local wildlife. The sneaky addition of a dual carriageway road very close to our homes, which will mean excess emissions from vehicles using it to get to the new Proposed Terminal. New sets of traffic lights at either end of my own road so I'l struggle to get to and from my home whenever I head out. It will take longer to go to and return from places. Destruction of the local community. More air pollution from aircraft fuel. It is already very bad as it is on some days I feel choked with it when I breathe. I've already shut windows on some days as its been so bad. More noise pollution from departing and arriving aircraft and road traffic, especially in the early mornings and late at night when it is really disruptive. Its already a struggle with the noise to sleep with the windows open, which we need to do during the warm weather.
