  • Environmental impact - more planes means more harm. Greener planes and fuels are not ready to scale. We can’t commit to expansion until we know it can be done without harming our planet. - Noise. The existing airport already creates significant noise disturbance (enough to regularly wake my children). We can’t expand while planes make so much noise. Even some of the newer planes like the 321neo actually make more noise. - Loss of green space. A valuable park will be destroyed to expand airport. - Road traffic. Already terrible and further polluting.
