Too big for a residential area. Too noisy especially when trying to sleep. Local infrastructure cannot support expansion. Pollution from increased vehicle volume. Studies show children are suffering from increased respiratory problems in this area. Will affect local wildlife and green spaces. Need more green fuel for aviation before this wrecks the planet for future generations. We are trying to reduce carbon footprint not increase it. Increased air traffic increases the risk of major incidents in a residential area. Residents are already affected by travellers parking their cars in the local area to avoid car park costs-expansion will also expand this problem. Local authority should not be solely dependant on income from the airport but should diversify to avoid situations as per the Covid pandemic.
