London Luton Airport Expansion

I am greatly opposed to the expansion of Luton Airport. As a resident of a local village I am already finding the flights to be insufferable with the noise levels seeming becoming worse by the week. I am also a keen supporter of the environment - how does expanding one of 5 London airports contribute to our suffering environment? What will be done to support the local area which already struggles with shocking road quality and constant floods? Not to mention the volume of vehicles on the road and inadequate public transport service.
