The proposed expansion takes vital green space for which Luton has one of the worst in the country away from the residents it allow will increase noise and pollution as well as destroying a walk to school my children do which will mean I won't have any option but to drive. This will prevent them from getting the good exercise daily they do. The expansion will also not benefits luton as claimed the money is not being spent on residents as claimed but will go on further debt servicing. The whole plan is against the green agenda of the goverment and will further polute Luton. I and many of my neighbours who will be moving away from this terrible town as the supposed benefits of this airport are nothing short of smoke and mirrors. It is teaching the next generation Luton is not worth staying in and as it has been for the last 10 years becoming a very run down and dead end place where the only care of the council is the airport and not the people or peoples health and wellbeing. The Airport is a good size as it is now and by expanding as the proposal becomes and total blight across many of it neighbours and villages.
