I am deeply concerned about an increase in road traffic through Hitchin, particularly along Stevenage Road and in the vicinity of the Stevenage Road/Parkway Roundabout, which is close to where I live and already congested many times of the day. In addition to noise and inconvenience, pollution is likely to worsen which is obviously bad for local residents, particularly children who we should be protecting.
