With the number of planes that fly over my house and garden currently I am very concerned that any increase in the number of flights and/or increase in the hours which planes can take off or land will have a hugely negative effect on the lives of myself and my family. The planes sometimes wake us late at night and early in the morning, particularly during the summer months, when we have our windows open and when there are more flights. If we sit in the back garden we can struggle to have a conversation as the noise of the planes going over drowns out our voices and we have to stop and wait for them to pass. During the summer this is very frequent, approximately every couple of minutes. Airparks, the shuttle bus between my village and the airport, is situated close to my home. The buses are frequent, roughly every 20 minutes, and I am concerned that if demand for this service increases due to the expansion we will have buses exiting and leaving the village constantly, and a huge increase in traffic arriving and departing from the car park, all through the day and night.
