Living approx 3 miles from the airport, under the the flight path I am obviously concerned about increases in noise and pollution, the plans include a huge amount of additional infrastructure to be built, this will have a serious impact on the local area, and wildlife which is already under pressure from many other existing and proposed developments, The proposal claims to be green and include token gestures about replacing land to be developed with new green areas, I don't see how building on a green area and claiming an existing undeveloped area replaces it achieves this! Luton Council have spent millions on this proposal with seemingly little regard for the agenda we should all need to be following. I thought the UK was committed to reducing emissions, so how can this massive increase in air traffic coupled with the large increase in cars travelling to the area be right? The money should have been used to support other projects in the area with less of an environmental impact
