Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my strong objection to the proposed expansion of Luton Airport. Specifically, I am concerned about the effects that expansion would have on the community if flights were allowed throughout the night. As a resident living in the vicinity of Luton Airport, I have already experienced the disruptive and distressing effects of the current flight schedule. The noise pollution from these flights has caused significant disturbance to my sleep, affected my daily routine, and has impacted my quality of life. If the airport expands, and flights are allowed throughout the night, I fear that the situation will only worsen. The constant noise pollution will have a detrimental effect on my physical and mental health and that of my family and other members of the community. Moreover, it will affect the ability of children to study and concentrate, and it will also be a significant disturbance for elderly people and shift workers. I urge you to reconsider the proposed expansion of Luton Airport and to take into account the significant negative effects that it will have on the community if flights are allowed to operate throughout the night.
