If expansion goes ahead, I am concerned about increased noise and pollution from extra flights. Double glazing and sound proofing will not work particularly in summer months when windows are open more to cope with the heat. There will also be increased vehicles on the road. Lutons roads are particularly busy especially going towards the airport on Kimptons road and Gypsy Lane in part caused by new developments and retail. Some holidaymakers park on roads near the airport including my road due to the exorbitant costs involved with parking and travelling by public transport or taxi/uber to the airport. More flights will only increase the mount of cars trying to part in already busy streets. [REDACTED] the increased polution is also a concern and worry. House price depreciation is also a concern of mine as potential new buyers will be put of by increased noise and traffic.
