Luton DART Expansion: Extend the Luton DART to Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard, and Milton Keynes, replacing current bus expressway. Current travel time from Milton Keynes, ~25 miles, is over an hour, which could be reduced to 30 mins or less, and integrate with East -West Rail. Fantastic workforce potential and environmental benefits. Future Expansion Provision: Clear current Long Stay Car Park area for possible additional stand capacity and/or additional terminal. Opportunity to provision for taxiways and services to these. Long Stay Car Park: Duplicate design for new Short Stay Car Park to save design costs. Leave room for a third similar car park. A much better experience, especially in inclement weather. Frees up original Long Stay Car Park area near eastern perimeter operations. Luton DART Integration: Continue in straight line to Long Stay Car Park to enable a much better experience and integration with Long Stay Car Park and possible future expansion.
