I do not agree with any developments that involve increased use of fossil fuels and thus contributing to global warming. At a local level, the increase in noise pollution on residents cannot be justified. The claim that planes have become quieter is not apparent. In my area levels of 8 decibels have been recorded regularly. Likewise, air pollution will increase with increased air traffic. The impact of motor traffic to and fro the airport is a big concern. The proximity of the M1 already causes problems locally.
