I am very much against this expansion as my house is directly under the flightpath when planes land from the west over Dunstable Downs. When I moved here over 10 years ago air traffic was much less than today and westerly approaches less common. However this has significantly increased already today, further increases will make sleeping more difficult and air quality will deteriorate further. Also planes seem to fly later and later into the night before they stop. There are more than just freight flights between 1-2am. Additionally Luton has continually had poor access to the current terminal through a single access tunnel beneath a taxiway. Increased flights and traffic even with a second terminal will simply add to this traffic burden and even more pollution.
