We should be flying less. The risk to the planet through climate change is worse than the benefit of giving more people the ability to take more flights for holidays or business. The local area already suffers through people parking on streets to avoid paying parking charges. I have no doubt that car parking charges at the airport will be seen as a key revenue stream rather than be made cheap enough to make people use it and keep local streets clear for residents. The Dart is more expensive than a taxi. What is the hourly/peak capacity of the Dart? Is it suitable for expansion of the airport usage?
