I strongly object to LAE future expansion due to the following reasons - Noise Pollution , Light Pollution , Air Pollution , Road Infrastructure , Traffic , Wildlife issues and finally the scamming money making scheme that is the Residents Parking Permit to supposedly reduce parking issues due to the astronomical parking prices at LAE. I reside very close to LAE and as such am subject to the local councils brain fart system that is the Residents Parking Scheme !!!! I now need to pay to park on my road alongside paying my road fund licence to park on my road , the holiday makers take no notice of this system !! I can have holiday makers vehicles parked in Residents bays for weeks at a time and occasionally they get a parking ticket , the ticket is FAR cheaper than the LAE Parking ....i have footage proving the Enforcement officers can visit every 2 wks / i have made complaints / i have had parking tickets as i cant get in a bay due to holiday makers ! My vehicle insurance has dramtically risen due to fed up local residents damaging holiday makers vehicles and in turn them making insurance claims ! Why should we as home owners suffer more due to LAE's ignorance !!?? Expansion of LAE would be the last straw for me as a Luton home owner and i would sell up & relocate. LAE expansion ..... No thank you !
