The Royal Society has warned there is no single, clear, sustainable, alternative to jet fuel able to support flying on a scale equivalent to present day use. Therefore doubling the size of Luton airport will mean using conventional fuel and contributing to the climate emergency. Please do not allow this plan to succeed.
