We don't want the skies above us becoming like our roads - over congested We have lived directly under the incoming flight path for 27 years, having previously lived in Slip End (our choice - yes) & there are times when the current arrivals are now non-stop. Not only during the day, but there's a fair few that land during the night too, unlike Heathrow who have a period of no fly during the night (midnight to 6am?) We do use Luton Airport ourselves about once a year, but sadly, it has always been very shambolic throughout it's many expansions, with regard to passenger experience and, the charges for drop off/pick up have always been amongst the most extortionate The current airport has been 'cobbled together' over the years (we first came to Luton in 1978 when it was a lovely little airport). Over these years, there have been major traffic issues at the approach. Luton Airport has been expanded by trying to slot everything into a space clearly not suitable.
