I fully support the expansion of London Luton Airport. The convenience Luton Airport offers for the South East in terms of ease of access to the rest of the planet, without the need to travel to other airports such as Gatwick, Stansted, City and Heathrow should not be ignored at all. Additionally, the employment and opportunities for all businesses is huge. The proposed expansion achieves the above and more whilst respecting the local environment particularly the flight path which avoids the town and most built up areas. As someone that has personally started to use London Luton Airport more regularly of late, I've seen a marked improvement over the last decade in terms of its management - e.g. the airport interior, departures (including a private lounge, world class duty free) and arrivals experience quality (including speed of immigration) are all admirable improvements in making London Luton a world class airport which far exceeds other airports in London. Additionally, the introduction of the DART transfer train from Luton Airport Parkway mainline station to the airport is a fantastic, environmentally friendly addition to the airport infrastructure - saving passengers even more time with it's super smooth journey.
