Residents of Tring and surrounding areas already experience significant aircraft noise from aeroplanes flying into and out of Luton Airport. As we are under one of the 'stacking' areas for London Heathrow, there is already considerable aircraft activity in this area. Consequently, aircraft flying to and from Luton have to fly at a low altitude, which they do very early in the morning, late in the evening and even into the small hours (eg 02:00). This proposal, by increasing the number of aircraft flying into and out of Luton Airport, will make this noise intrusion significantly worse and further pollute the many Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty adjacent to Tring. However, there appears to be no consideration in the proposal to address these matters or mitigate the extra noise and pollution.
