I am totally against expanding Luton airport. With climate change we should be encouraging people to fly less. We should be working out how to reduce capacity not increase it. Those who live close to the airport have enough problems with noise and pollution already. The town generally suffers from the pollution from the airport. The idea of all these extra travellers coming through Luton is horrendous. They won't all travel by DART. How much is it going to affect trains from Luton to London? I still can't believe that in this day and age you are suggesting expanding the airport. I know the money would be nice but if someone came up with a scheme to make money to be used for the community that involved drug dealing you would not consider it. Why then should we consider this awful expansion proposal?
