When expanding the airport and the facilities , the costs of usage for passengers should be considered. The DART is the most expensive train ride per mile in the UK - surely as per Gatwick it should be a free service to link the terminal to the main rail infrastructure so making the passenger experience more economic and pleasurable. The drop of fee for passengers arriving by car is an unnecessary charge - at Nice airport they have a “kiss and fly” drop off area free for 10 minutes - if we want to welcome visitors to the UK , and the London Luton , rip off charges for the train of drop off sour the experience . Any new expansion should budget to drop these charges and enhance passenger experience.
