This application has many flaws and I wish to highlight these in more detail and in due course. In the meantime, these objections are simply a starting point: 1. Increased Aircraft Noise. 2. Inadequate access infrastructure. 3. Unnecessary disturbance of former un-licensed waste site. 4. Unnecessary destruction of local park and wildlife habitat. 5. No commercial justification for increased capacity in todays financial and environmental circumstances. 6. Long-term financial implications for both the plan proposer and local residents. I am not a Nimby, accept that I purchased a property close to an airport (which previously made a significant contribution to local finances) and have a personal interest in commercial air travel. I look forward to providing more detail to my many objections.
