I object to the airport expansion due to: Increased average noise level particularly late evening and early morning from frequent flights will degrade my quality of life, noting that we generally want to have our house windows open to release heat from our property in the summer (which coincides with peak tourist season). Loss of natural habitat and disturbance to natural habitats in the construction area and airport associated new and enlarged roads. Increased air pollution and water course pollution locally. As a nation we should be reducing CO2 emissions, not increasing them. I cannot see how such a large expansion can be consistent with the the aim of net zero CO2 emissions by 2050.
