The park is the only green space in the area, I have a lot of fond memories there, and it's a great place to walk when I want to return to the countryside. When I was growing up in Luton, it was a great place for me and my friends to hang out and practice football. I think it really kept us out of trouble a lot, as there is not much else to do that at that end of Wigmore without loitering around people's houses or the local shops.
