There are many issues with this project and few positives. 1. We are facing a climate crisis and should not be encouraging more air travel, but the plans intend to almost double passenger numbers; 2. More passengers means more traffic through local towns and villages, including mine, which means more air pollution. This will have a significant impact on people's health. Has additional public transport been factored in to minimise car journeys?; 3. More flights means more noise and air pollution locally. I do not agree with the expansion. We do not need it. We do not want it.
