For the past months, the once tranquil area of rural South Cambridgeshire has been plagued by a massive increase in flights approaching LLA resulting from the change in flight paths. The consultation regarding the changes was flawed and is being challenged: the potential impacts were neither explained or subsequently mitigated. The flight path changes permit greater flight numbers which will only serve to make living in an area with - previously - low ambient noise levels adversely affected. Little, effectively none, consideration is given to the health and well-being of rural residents, let alone pollution effects whilst we are striving to reduce climate temperature increases. I strongly oppose ANY increase in activity at LLA regional airport, the effects of LLA's flight path changes are already demonstrated to be damaging and unacceptable, further increase is just not acceptable. Just because the rural communities do not have a large population to register complaints should not mean that individual's voices cannot be listened to by LLA, the CAA and NATS.
