The expansion of Luton Airport would be a serious step backwards environmentally; we all need to be travelling less, not more. We live directly under the flightpath of the airport and are constantly bombarded by the noise of aircraft flying over, often every three minutes, including the hours up to midnight and occasionally later. Any time in our garden is completely spoilt by the incessant noise. It's also impossible to listen to the radio as every aircraft affects the radio reception.
