I reside under the existing flight paths and the noise from the planes is already intolerably loud especially in the summer months the planes fly over every 2-3 minutes. I have to halt my conversations as I am unable to hear what the other party is saying when the planes go over, and I am unable to enjoy entertainment programmes as I have to pause them in order to hear the dialogue noise free. I strongly feel that the provision of Triple Glazing for all windows and doors of all those homes currently affected by airport noise and emissions should be provided free of charge. I find it hard to go to sleep due to the noise and I am reluctant to keep the windows open due to the emissions. The emissions are polluting the atmosphere outside and I don't want to draw them inside my home as well because I feel there is insufficient clean air in the existing Luton Airport Zone. I don't want to double the emissions or the number of passengers flying from our airport, it's hard enough to cope with the amount we already have. I don't want to lose any more of the green spaces we have left as I believe they are essential for mental health and harmony within the environment. They are places to go when you want to feel calm, relaxed and regenerated, meet up with friends and family or simply to go for a walk and I don't want this privilege taken away. I am also concerned that my contribution to the council will be increased if I am forced contribute towards resurfacing the local roads due to the extra traffic. I don't to be financially worse off due to the proposed expansion.
