Every morning we are wakened by the early morning flights from Luton . The first flight is usually shortly after 6`00 am and from then on every 15 minutes there are flights overhead. In the winter months even with windows closed the noise wakens our household. In summer months the noise is so unbearable. Wizz air flights are particularly noisy and the planes are easily recognisable from our hone . We understood there should not be any night time flights after midnight but at 1.15 am most nights there are planes flying over our home . The road infra structure in our area is already saturated with the present flight numbers and there are so many occasions when the M! Is blocked and the traffic is redirected through Harpenden causing complete chaos in the area . I strongly object to any expansion of the airport and want a ban on all night flights with routes redirected to cease all flying over Harpenden and residential areas close to Harpenden .
