We live in a peaceful quiet Village which is currently being blighted by Luton bound jets flying at 8,000 ft over and in very close proximity to the village. This is a result of Luton’s preferred flight route changes under AD6. The level of noise and no doubt pollution caused by these low altitude planes have ruined the enjoyment of living in a rural tranquil location. If Luton airport were to expand, the quantity of planes flying over this and other surrounding villages would treble, virtually become non stop roar and for longer hours including into the night. We the residents of these quiet rural villages certainly did not choose to move here for Luton air traffic to totally ruin our enjoyment of peace and tranquility.
