Living not far from the airport I am very concerned about 1. Vast increase in traffic on local roads, many of which are not suitable and will be used at rat runs. 2. Noise, there is already a significant impact from noise from the airport and the higher increase in flights will cause extensive impact to not only local houses but a wide area. 3. Pollution, Luton air quality is already very poor, doubling the amount of flights will have a huge impact on public health in the region. 4. Environmental, the loss of parkland to facilitate the expansion will be detrimental to the local area, wildlife and fauna 5. Luton Rising( aka Luton Borough Council) is a loss making project and I cannot see how the expense of the expansion will be met financially
